Responsibilities and Job Role:

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing an IT-based procurement system with strong security features and compliance mechanisms. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement IT solutions for procurement processes, ensuring a secure and functional system that aligns with government regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with international security standards and conduct IT security audits for risk assessment.
  • Lead digital transformation projects related to e-procurement, working closely with IT and procurement teams.
  • Monitor system security, identify potential security threats, and implement solutions in coordination with relevant certification authorities.
  • Enhance procurement system functionalities to meet modern requirements.
  • Provide expert recommendations for system improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Handle any additional tasks assigned by the management.
  • Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree or higher (at least 16 years of education) in Information Technology, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 15 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role related to IT systems, digital transformation, or e-procurement.
    • Experience in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems will be preferred.
  • Rs. 1,500,000 to Rs. 2,000,000 per month (Lump Sum Basis)

Responsibilities and Job Role:

This role involves leading the development, analysis, and implementation of public procurement policies and regulations. The key responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert advice on public procurement policies to improve government procurement practices.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for procurement policy reforms in line with international best practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis on procurement systems, identifying weaknesses and suggesting improvements.
  • Prepare analytical reports, research papers, and policy briefs to present to government authorities.
  • Evaluate current procurement regulations and recommend necessary amendments.
  • Offer legal input on procurement rules and provide guidance on changes to procurement laws.
  • Oversee the implementation of public procurement regulations and assess their effectiveness.
  • Analyze procurement policy challenges and develop solutions.
  • Work towards harmonizing procurement regulations, including guidelines for various government entities.
  • Conduct studies and propose reforms to strengthen procurement mechanisms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree or higher (at least 16 years of education) in Public Policy, Public Administration, Law, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
    • At least 5 years in a senior position in public procurement.
    • International experience and additional certifications will be an added advantage.
